Many years ago, there was a time when only the 104 main levels existed. Then, with the Great Update, came the parallel dimensions with all the joy and pain they bring.
This challenge is for everyone to experience for themselves how the game felt in the old days (hence the name "Retro Igor").
There are different rankings, depending on the game modes you've used. It is allowed to enter all rankings. As of now, there is no minimal score required to enter. This may possibly change in the future.
The abbreviations for different game mode combos are based on the French original, which is why "Unstable Explosives" for example is abbreviated as EI instead of UE.
If you want to try your luck and join the leaderboards, there are a few things you must consider.
- Games that were played before this post was created (12.02.2019) will not be counted
- Please say what game modes you have used during your game, so you can be ranked in the correct scoreboard
- The use of "Mirror" and "Tornade" modes is optional, does not affect your ranking and does not have to be mentioned
- You have to give proof of the legitimacy of your game by both
1) posting a screenshot with the game map open (press the "C" button during the game) to show that you didn't enter any pd. This screenshot must be taken after the last PD entrance you've passed, ideally in level 103 or the last level you got to
AND 2) posting your "Game over" message with your score and reached level.
- Please do not submit a score if you've collected
in your game, except you suicide immediately after getting it without gaining a significant amount of points and can prove it with screenshots taken before and afterwords- Please do not submit a score if you've collected
or a Super-Purple Pearl, except you avoid the 
well enough to not gain a significant amount of points from it and can prove it with screenshots taken before and afterwords- If you accidentally enter Hell (aka PD54) your game will still count if you immediately exit again and prove it with screenshots of level 54.0 and 55
- You are allowed to use the Méluzzine Key in level 78 and collect the purple
- Last but not least - and this should be the most obvious one - please DO NOT CHEAT! Although the rules above are made to allow for a fair competition, there is no way to tell if you've completely followed the rules or if you've sneaked in a little
, so please do not ruin the fun for everyone by posting an illegitimate run or faking a screenshot. If you are caught cheating once, you will be banned from the rankings for lifetimeFollowing the rules above, this is an example what a score submission should look like:

In this example I died in level 101. The last PD entrance in my game was in level 97, so the proof screen must be from level 98+.
