Alt enabled browser's (and most software) menu be controlled by keyboard. I think you press alt and can't move. Or my keyboard don't pause the game. Or at least learning mode.102

Actually when you're playing the game anything you press is working inside the game. So Alt shouldn't be working. Which browser are you on?

All browsers/OS that I've ever dealt with let Alt work while you're playing the game. =/

Windows XP / IE 7
Windows XP / IE 8
Windows XP / FF 3.2
Windows XP / FF 3.5
Windows XP / FF 3.5.2
Windows XP / SF 4.5

Macintosh / SF 4.5
Macintosh / FF 3.5

When I press Alt in-game, the game screen freezes where it is, everything stops moving, essentially taking a screenshot of the frame. Pressing Alt again will allow you to continue playing normally.

I use Windows XP, and this has always worked for me in Google Chrome. When I tried it in IE and FF, it sometimes didn't work; but it probably had to do mainly with my computer and not with the browsers, since my computer tended to lag a lot. I haven't tested it yet with my new laptop.

When it works, it is a great way to pause without having something come up to cover up your game screen, so you can look at (and/or screenie) what is going on. It is probably less reliable than P or C, though, because I believe it is a feature of the Flash console (or perhaps the toolbar menus, as unixasas said) and not of the game itself.

Interesting....

On all of mine, it gives access to the upper menu bars (it'll be on File, press right to go to Edit, down to look at submenus, etc.), which, unfortunately, means Igor sits there in the running game until you click on the screen (hopefully before he DIES)

I use Firefox 3.5 on Kubuntu and pressing Alt show the pause message and I can't do anything until I've pressed it away.

Maybe Linux made more convenient way to enter pause mode than Windows ;)

dAwjbNS, are we talking about Browsers or OS? If you press Alt+Tab/Alt+F4 (which are OS commands) it works, but if you press Alt+F, Alt+Left arrow, Ctrl+W (browser commands) the "file" menu doesn't drop, the page doesn't go to the previous one or the window doesn't close. Try it on learning mode if you like.

Alt has never paused any flash for me... weird :).
