Can't find the answer to this anywhere...When you complete a family, does anything HAPPEN? Secret level, rewards, etc...Or is the goal simply about collecting cool items?

Items are in a same family because most of them you unblock by completing a quest. For example after you complete Some sugar! items from Family Sweets will start appearing. After you complete Difaïned treasure - Family Precious stones, Expert in salads and stews - Family Vegetables, and so on.

I remember someone said something about a list of which quest which family unblocks, but I don't know were you can find it.

You can still find it in the "items, quests and families" thread There is another file by dor1997, which I wanted to use for the thread, but I have not done this yet. The quests and the families unlocked by each quest are in there though.

Thanks, everyone! I didn't know if I was collecting all of these items for a specific purpose to be used in tha game. Ex: "Sandy's Adventure". I figured some secret "beach" level opened up or something once I collected all the sand-pails.

Not "Sandy's Adventure". No such animal, sorry. I meant "Birthday Party".
