Game reference?

So, I noticed that the "gordon's key" was a crowbar. This reminded me of Half-life where Gordon Freeman uses the crowbar to break everything open.... could this be a subtle reference to Half-life?

Any other funny references in the game?

Well, PD43 is one huge reference to Bubble Bobble, PD16 is a reference to Super Mario Bros., and PD62 is a reference to Sonic :P

There are also many items which refer to Mario games (coins, Koopa Shell). There is also the Hammer which also refers to a very old Mario game.

There are many items that come from animes as well (Luffy's Hat, for example).

Yeah, I saw the Mariobros reference, but have yet to encounter the other PD's you mentioned...... Mostly because I have only gotten to floor 54.

I tend to focus a lot on the enemies when I'm playing, so is there any landmark I can use to remind myself which floor to use the PD on to get to the bubble bobble and sonic ministages?
(I'm assuming its green hill stage or something like that.)

Bubble Bobble is on the stage with lemons and apples.
Sonic is on the level with 4 peaches, but you need 1198 to open it. :?

All the robots are references to something. Also, 112 refers to MT's PiouPiouz game, the playing cards of course... there is sooo much^^
