Im sure im not discovering it, as many players before me sure have discovered it before me, but for all who didnt find it:

at the first level, when you go down the well, stick to the left side and press the left arrow as you go down, and Igor will soon find himself a good shortcut, and on level 2, which is a void, he will get a few Crystals, 3 blues 1 green and 1 red if i remember correctly

On level 1 (because you start on level 0) you can stand on an invisible ped, so you can collect them all:
