Wated game problem.

Hello everybody. After done some research I've decided to post my question here.

Well, yesterday, just after getting the daily "Snowflake thing" (I don't know the name of it), I've played the game. Everything went well, but when the game was over I've got the message "Unable to save progress", something like that. I decided to refresh the page and got the error message "Too many connections".

Question: This means I have lost one game for nothing? Is there something I can do about it?

Thanks in advance.

I think the game couldn't save because of the "too many connections". So restarting should work for you - and now it looks like you can restart; at least you are in the forum, this means that there are not the "too many connections" ;) (I know this error :( Annoying). I think it is the same problem as always, only that you couldn't restart directly.
I don't know if you can still save the old game one day after playing it... If no - bad luck, you lost it. If yes - better luck, everything is fine :)

Dude, I hadn't tried to re-save the game now, I didn't even think it was possible. I have tried after reading your reply and it worked.

Thanks a lot, mate.

Wow - I feared that it wouldn't save anymore! Very good :)

If there is some internet connection problem (regardless if the problem is with you or with the website) you have to wait for all the three tries to save the game and get this "Unable to save game" message. If you see it, that means that the game progress is saved in a cookie on your computer. The game will be saved next time you start a game.
But beware! If you have done something that deletes your browser cookies (Your browser erases all the cookies when you close it; you use some sort of 'cleaning' application, that deletes cookies, temp files, etc.; you delete them manually; and such) your game won't be saved. When you get the "Unable to save game" it is best to try to start a new game as soon as possible. The game will be saved BEFORE the "Click here, you will have one game less" screen. So if you see this screen instead of saving - bad luck.

(I think I should sticky this)

Nah, don't sticky this thread...
Instead, put it in the FAQ! :D

electric, I agree. This is very useful info, which should either be put in the FAQ or a new stickied thread.

Also, the same thing happened to me (got the error), and I was able to save my game, even after I shutdown my computer last night, and then booted it up again a few minutes ago.

I unblocked 1108 1109 and 1136

flameboy: This is why I was so uncertain; different browsers (or different users) have different settings for their cookies. I didn't know about vanbakker's settings (and not exactly about how the "saving later" works at all :P )...

The cookies use only the data they are 'told' to use. Most likely there is data of which user has played the game, which browser he has used, etc. so people won't be able to "transfer" cookie and the items he took to another user. And I was thinking of making a new one, not sticky this. But not today...

30191: My settings are the default Firefox settings. I just keep cookis saved for I play several browser and flash games that require such.
