ARRRGH! 54.8 with 5 lives and the strawberry, pineapple combo just did me in. BOO.

HAH! heck with that, I was feeling skilled so I hit another round of it... I made it all the way through! I was so excited I didn't even look at what was next... and then a portal appeared... and then... well, yeah. Plus I came out with 4 or 5 lives left, so I think I have a chance to go a little further next time. I really hate that stupid box though... grr.

I did 54.1 and 54.4 without dying, only one death in 54.2 and 54.5, got CRYSTAL on 54.6, then three deaths on 54.7 (ugh, I am so much better than that ) then 2 on 54.8, then... a bunch on 54.9. Who thought 54.9 was a good idea, seriously? Now that I'm familiar with it's cruelty, though, I think I'm in good shape. I took a screenshot to remind myself just what the hell is up with that place.

So, 54.10 is my current record. Tomorrow, I think it's time to pay those raspberries a visit.

Also, I know it's just dumb luck, but I was pleased:

Oh, apparently I came out of there with less lives than that... I don't think I was paying attention at all... I just wanted to try and finish up at that point.

Howling metal 5... I dunno what the designation for that is, but that's how far I made it. Those levels are actually, for the most part, pretty easy I've found. Every once in a while a raspberry might get in a tight spot, but if I can get through the first hell levels to there, I'll be in good shape from there on. I was so worried, though, because I saw the pyramid pass level with only a portal and was like, oh no! which way do I go?

Looking above I guess it's 54.12.1.5

Yes, the beginning of Howling Metal is easy. But just to disappoint you: The last 2 or 3 are quite tricky again. The beginning of Tuber's Tomb will then be another few easy levels, and the end seems to be hard, though I have not played all of these levels yet

That surprises me... very little. Nevertheless, I think I'm in good shape. The PP will be mine oh so soon...

Now I just need to learn to get through PD 51 regularly without dying, that'd be a bonus life in my favor. I have no problem with the regulars before then except for 0, but that extra life and couple more letters would be huge.

Good idea, maybe I should try that one too...
Aside from that, it can give you the necessary points to reach 3M or even 4M in Hell, which is another extra life Good luck to you!

New record RC is very evil land.. I am not even close to get N64 controller.. But when I recall my beginning at getting , it was also very hard so I have to think in positive way
