Because the items stay for specific amount of time. It may stay for 20 seconds, but the fireball may come in 50, because you don't have any spare lives. This way the item won't stay till "just before the second quick".

A new idea: items that make you take a gamble:

D&D Dice: Coefficient 6: either takes two lives or gives 800,000 points.

Poker Chips: Coefficient 5: either turns all enemies into ananarmegeddons or turns them into one black crystal.

Wheel of Fortune: Coefficient 5: either gives 100,000 points or takes 100,000 points.

Six-sided Dice: Coefficient 4: either turns enemies into random CRISTAL letters or takes 10,000 points.

Roulette: Coefficient 4: either kills Igor or awards 100,000 points..

Pachinko: either takes Igor back three levels or forward two levels.;

Tetrahedron Dice: Coefficient 3: either awards two CRISTAL letters or takes 1,000 points.

Trick-cards: Coefficient 3: either turns enemies into a random green, blue or yellow crystals or drops a bombino on a random platform (not close to Igor).

Slot-machine: Coefficient 3: makes a giant slot machine appear (and pauses the game), that has cherries, apples, bombinos, bananas, and a moneybag. If it lands on three of the fruits, all enemies will turn into that fruit, and if it lands on three moneybags, Igor will win a random sum of money over 100,000.

Bingo: Coefficient 3: either awards 1,000 points or takes 1,000 points.

All items are unlocked by a quest, by getting one of each of the playing cards:

The Gambler: "Igor has collected enough playing cards in his journeys, and now he is prepared to take a gamble. "

I like the idea Though - gamble does already appear in the game: But nevertheless, these items would add interesting twists...

But I also think that some items might be too much "head-first through the wall"... The first one for example is just extreme, no matter what it does. I don't know... but still a good idea^^

Just before the second "QUICK!" would be how long the Downpour stays. (It would be an exception to the 20 second rule.)

Dont allow enemies to jump or go back (unless they hit a wall) until they fall and DIE

i have few ideas

a statue of a moon glade ,effect: it givs you a big moon glade for one stage coeff 6 or big

or a cross word quest its somting like the

example it the quest you have to find the letters
B,I,G,J,A,D,E

quest allows you to transfor igor in to Golden, Bronze or Sliver Igor
