No, I don't speak Russian. Some years ago I was able to read and write kyrillic letters, but I have forgotten some of them, so I can't read everything. And I don't know a single russian word (okay, very few. Simple stuff. A few polish sentences which might be similar in russian. Nothing more)

And Nizhny Novgorod is by far closer to Moscow than anything in Germany. I've just looked at a map - I am nearly as close to Moscow as the Ural mountains. So most of the Asian part of Russia is farther away.
