Not sure if it's already been said, but you can get the coin on this level as many times as you want - that is to say, the coin can appear more than once in the same game. All you have to do is play continuously through pd 33 as a loop, and every time you reach that level, the coin will be there. I've experienced both situations where the one that has it dies, and sometimes the effect is lost, and sometimes it is retained.
