Well, I always play @40 fps.. I didn't know it is possible to play in higher fps :)

Turn on many video things at once - movies, youtube movies.. Something that uses lot of processor (at least that helped for me).

40 fps is standard. If Igor is just standing there, it will be 40. But I found I reach up to 42 quite commonly on my laptop. (Then I had to stop checking after it made me die. -_-)
