Also, I have an old, slow computer. My HyperCam settings are:
Frames per second: 10 (both record & playback)
Cursor/Full frame capture ratio: 1
Key frame every 100 frames
Video compressor: Auto Select
Frame compression quality: 75%.Could any of this be the reason the videos are so fast?

I think that the 10 fps make the video faster. I used HyperCam with 40 because it really made the game run smoother than with 10 (weird... but true) and later went down to 30 (because 40 plus optimal picture quality was too hard for my computer) and the 30 fps videos are also faster than the 40 fps ones, but still slower than the usual videos (which seem to be 10 fps very often)

My 4th goal: to beat Tuber before Vanilleon does.

For whatever reason, I set capture to 27 and playback to 14. For me, it just works.

Default movie quality is 24fps. I suggest you make your videos at most at that speed. However the same fps for recording and playback should produce normal video...
You! The guy whos movies are too fast. Check on youtube the "Let's play hammerfest" and see if your game speed is the same.

i make my videos 10 FPS record and 24 FPS playback. If i have it too high, it always lags a lot and messes me up.

Haha, so it is settled. Only, now I sort of wish I'd waited to say that ... because I've been getting really good scores, and I was going to try to move up in the pyramid this week before I beat him. The past two days, I included PD's 64, 72, and 72.1 in my games (for extra points), and still managed get to level 90 ... so if it comes down to it, I can take them back out, and then I think Tuber isn't too far-off. I will at least get to see him, if not show him who's boss.

my goals are:

1.Start going through the easier PDs regularly by novemeber (besides PD 3)
2. Make it to level 50 by november
3. Get 1 million points by december
4. Make it to level 3 by the end of the year
5. Get a coeff. 5 or 6
6. Beat tuber/ get to HoF by the end of next year
