Can anyone explain how the kiwi enemies work? Lost both my remaining lives to them trying to figure it out.

It looks as if they drop slices of themselves down which turn invisible, this is the only bit i know for sure.
now i have two guesses as to how these slices then act

1) the slices act as a sort of mine which jumps up and explodes when you get close.
or
2) trying to drop a bomb where a slice is causes the slice to be kicked upwards where it explodes (i think that for some reason i didn't drop a bomb when this occured so could be it)

Anyone able to explain how they work? and/or a way of fighting them.

sorta both because if you are near one of the mines you can't lay a bomb, you just kick the mines

if i ever reach em again i guess i might understand them a little better ;p
need to learn a few of those huge crystal patterns, keep getting scores of around 980k, would probably really help ;p
wish the lamps were as common as they used to be when i started. 29 games left anyway though so i'm sure i'll manage it eventually (not sure why more people don't just buy games, cost me £3.84 sterling for 31 games, better value than when i used to play Snow Bros at the kebab shop (and a credit in one of those usually only lasted me 5-10 minutes whilst there are over 30 minutes)

Just aiming to beat the game rather than get a high score, gets extremely laggy after 70 (gonna turn down the graphics now)

yes the kiwis roll through the level same as the oranges but they jump from level to level like the apples do.

It was said earlier but when they drop those slices of themselves, they are mines and will pop up and explode when you near them. When you are close to them, you can kick them like a bomb.

I find it easier to beat them if you try to trigger off their slices as they lay them. Then you have less of a chance of accidentally triggering one when you are trying to kill them or pick up items.

i've developed a tendancy to go straight for the kiwi(s) first before they have a chance to drop too many mines now, though it is a bit suicidal at times...
(btw i only recently found out you could kick the pears bombs after seeing a video on a french site :p)
