The Caverns of Hammerfest - Sujet: Can't find any more items why?

Hi, I did a really great start at this game, finding the book of stars on early game and many other important items, but now I can't finish any more quest!
I have already purchased 3 times 25 games for a total of about 120 games (i have also counted the 25% bonus and some quests that give you more games).
I had a very hard time finishing the "Motion Twin Diet" quest but when I finished it I said to myself: "Now I will find a lot of new items!", but I didn't find any!
On the last 31 games I didn't finished ANY quest and I have found only 3 new items ( 108

and the doll, quite dull!). I am starting to get bored since it seems that I play for nothing... What I have to do in order to get some new quest items? Finish the game? Reach 90+ levels? Only luck? Any hints for the best players?

Ya after a while you stop getting new items until you finish new quests which require a lot of rare items sometimes.

The

item makes two of the third item appear in every screen until you die. The third item being the point item after the first cristal letter appears.

once you finish good taste, you can finish a lot of other quests

i found one pretty early, but it took me forever to get the second chocalate box. I still only have two chocolate boxes but i have two candy canes

Oh and don't skip the first 10 levels, because those are some of the few where it's really, really easy to get to the items so if a rare item pops up, it's hard to miss (I got a candy cane on level 8
