Okay, me and my friends who can't forum post are wondering something...

Well, here's the story

I am the only one who doesn't have a book, the book of mushrooms or stars. My friend can't find any Golden Igors, but he made an alt account so he can play more games a day and got the book of mushrooms on his maybe 4th game. My second friend just sucks and can't even get to the lemons, the reason he doesn't have any fighter's trophies, but he already has the book o' mushes. My third friend has the book of stars, about maybe 30 quests completed, and gets like five Golden Igors a game.

So the reason I said 30 quests somewhere in there...
Do you find more rare items like books out of luck, or do you have to complete an amount of quests to unlock stuff?

1) Why can't your friends post on the forum ?

2) Each quest (usually) unlocks one or two families of items for you to find in the game. You can find out which quests unlock which families at this thread (download whichever suits your needs).

3) For the BoM and BoS, you need to complete the quest Technological advance. For the Golden Igors, you need to find all three hearts. After you have completed the necessary quest(s), it is only a matter of luck. The number of quests you have completed has nothing to do with your chance of getting rarer items, except indirectly as they change the number of items you can see. You just happen to be unluckier than your friends. The books are very rare items and many people have to wait a long time to see them. I didn't see a BoS until I had played for six months straight. Learn to live without it until that time comes.

4) It is forbidden to have multiple accounts on one server. If you or your friends want to play more games a day, you can sign up on the other two servers (hammerfest.fr and hammerfest.es).

5) There's no way your friend gets five 's per game. I don't believe that.

Both are correct.

All items have a certain coefficient, determining how rare they are in the game. This ranges from Coeff 1 (1/2) ( ), to Coeff 6 (1/22000) (Tasteless Truffle). There are also Coeff 0 items that only appear in a certain spot, such as , and .

Also, all items belong in families, such as First Aid Kit, Lost Keys or Kapital Risk. At the start of the game, the only family you can access (besides Coeff. 0) is
Basic Items ( ) and
Little Treats ( ).
As you finish quests, you'll unlock more families, such as
Norwegian Experimental Armament ( ),
Mario Party ( ) and Ninjutsu Artefact ( ).

The Books of Mushrooms/Stars are Coeff 5 (1/700) items in the First Aid Kit family, which is available after completing the quest "Technological Advance ( 1 1 1 )".

The (Coeff 3 (1/3)) are available after you get .

Each item's coeff, family, and the quests needed to access certain families are in the .pdf files available here.

About the multiple account thing, I'm not sure he read he rules, he's not very smart.

And my other friend, if you play while he is, he'll constantly yell "I got a Golden Igor!" like every few minutes.

Sorry for double post, but on the forum subject, I've played twice as long as any of them, so I'm the only one who has it unlocked.

And apparently the gets rarer once you complete the quest... I thinkk that was what was said once, not sure if it's correct.

no i think its the contrary that i gets more common after the quest because i got 2 golden igors in the game i got the 5th but it might not.

Well, the gets rarer because as you complete more quests, more coeff 3 items show up decreasing your chance of having any individual coeff 3

I thought the post ment that it moves up a co. or something when you complete it

Weeeird... I found 5 in my Spanish game (not counting the free one on 84) right after reading this topic. Could've sworn that's never happened before.

No item ever moves up or down a coefficient.

And to get you don't need to find but to complete... Armageddon? At least some quest, not the heart. I am pretty certain because I have tried this myself.
