Not that I know of... but sometimes I fear that I may have not seen one (there are some times I get so absorbed in the enemies I forget to watch for items) and been oblivious to it's expiration... I sure hope not XD

Yup, especially on some Hell levels, I completely don't look at the point item at all. If I have missed a coef6 somewhere there though then I'd rather it be there when I have very little chance of getting it anyway
