Super True. I have had a passion for computer science since junior high, and presently I am working on one of my first games in Flash (in the past I have written games in BASIC, but was constrained by its limits). Now that I have a laptop, I am free to meddle with AS and GML in my spare time.

(For the record, all my comp sci projects are temporarily on hold in favour of NaNoWriMo.)

I'm working on a flash game to, and i amd *SO* close to getting the engine working... It just won't for some reason... I'm using AS2 (Don't ask why, if i know how much better AS3 was, i would have learnt that.)

I'm using AS2, because I'm still using MX, because I am not fond of the makeover Adobe gave to Flash. In fact, I hadn't fully realised that CS came with a more recent version of AS.
