Lol, the random of this game makes me feel quite angry
During my recent games I have already found 3 book of magic stars (aren't they supposed to be very rare?) but none of the other important objects (chocolate boxes, sweet cane, all the red hats, bag of dollars etc...)!
Have you a rare object that seems to persecute you?

Well, my current irk is that in each one of my last three games I managed to collect C-R-I-S-T in order and then somehow picked up the darn L by mistake, even though I did everything in my power to avoid it.

As for the Book of Stars, I have yet to find it. If ever. Also, I wonder if some of the quests are actually BAD for you - finishing the "Super Size Me", for instance, unlocked those stupid low-point cans which seem to appear in every second level now.

Damir, don't bother collecting the letters in order. It's only 150k ( I think) , and in that time you could of earned 2 or 3 more lives, which are more valuable.

Heh, I'm still not skillful enough and am prone to hemmoraging lives on higher levels. Basically, 95% of my points are collected in the first 80 levels and after that I'm cannon fodder.

So, in essence, that 150,000 (or 300,000 if I'm lucky enough) which I collect in one game is far more useful to me then 3-4 more lives which I would lose in 15 seconds on those nasty 80+ levels.

Collecting CRISTAL in order gets you 150k points? Wow.

I've yet to decide if that's worth one life.

Presuming I don't screw up and die stupidly (which is more common than I like to admit) I can get 200-300K out of one life, so I don't think getting CRISTAL in order is worth it.

*points towards the 3 lives lost before level 20 in my last game* (which ended up at 1.505.775 points with those mistakes oddly enough...)

Tiberius, it all depends on perception.

I can comfortably reach levels 80+ without extra CRISTAL lives in almost every game. After that, however, the levels are so difficult (at least to me) it doesn't matter whether I banked 10 extra lives or just 1 - I will lose them all eventually without being able to pull many points. So those 150,000 or (300,000) I banked before are worth much more to me then those extra lives.

Back when I still played, I was consistently getting 2.5-3 million per game, so the extra 150k wasn't as important to me. Typically, I had several extra lives by the time I beat the game(ranging from 2 up to 10 [only happened once]), which actually added an extra 20k per life by the end.
