when i play i press "P" and some times there is a little Tip at the bottom :
Some letters in the word crYstal are more rare that others.... i have never encountered the letter "Y" in the game before ??
Is this a translation error or i'm missing out on something ?

There is no letter "Y." For all intensive purposes, the word remains CRISTAL as it was originally in the French version. It only says CRYSTAL in a few of the tips because for some reason they decided to translate it. But there are many translation errors in the game, it means nothing. Don't worry about it.
