You know, the results for 2 player mode ALWAYS end up like that.

When you play 2p mode score and best level are not counted, but the items you get and the quests you complete - are. That's how you may have best level 80 and have the Carrot (you have beaten Tuber in 2p mode). There are few items that only appear when you play 2p mode -> , and . Levels 49, 97.0, 103.
