But there is still NOTHING WRONG in creating a new thread to ask a question.

Nothing inherently wrong ... but it does take up precious space on the front page of the forum, and that can become annoying for regulars.

Sorry for bumping this thread; it's a bit hypocritical, but I had to put in my two cents.

Actually, making a new thread would not be a problem, but this question could easily have been answered without ever asking it

For the classic threads we've come to know and love ! For instance, ANS' PD video guide has been knocked back to the second page, and the Riddles thread is just about to be knocked back as well. Personally, I never look past page 1 unless I'm searching for a particular thread .. so there's a good chance these threads will be lost/forgotten.

I'm not saying it's a major issue right now .. it's not .. but if everyone made a new thread for every question instead of posting it on an existing thread, then we'd have a problem .. maybe even GT and DV would get pushed back a page, and nobody wants that, right ?

One thread like this does not bump others. I would be very annoyed if there were more of them, but not for one or two.
