But I finally made it to level 51!!

And I didn't use to do it, either.

Also saw the first of the toy figures, this game. Must have come from the quest I just finished.

Okay... Level 43, the way I do it: Drop directly to the lower left. There's a tiny block you can land on. You can kick a bomb over to kill the sorbex lemon on the botom level, then jump over. This part is where I tend to get killed, because the lemon above you can squirt you... You need to jump onto the little ledge, and kick a bomb through the teleporter, to kill the second lemon. Then you can step through, often just in time to collect a prize. Drop a bomb on the apple on the platform to your right, then bomb-jump to get to the last two apples. Sometimes the black bombs are sufficient to take them out, but if they are troubling you, you can drop down a level to get your basic white bombs back.

Please note: I don't think this technique has ever gotten me a supercrystal, but it does seem to allow me to survive the level more than half the time.

or if you want the large crystal, here's what I do:

(tip: this works best if you get an umbrella on 42, or find a shield.)

anyway, go to where the lower lemon is and kick a bomb through the teleporter, killing the higher lemon (if you don't have a shield, do a very careful bomb jump over the bottom lemon).
turn around, kill the other lemon.
go back through the teleporter, kill the apple/tomato that's there.
once again go through the teleporter, jump up to the small block, jump onto the ledge to the right of the block, then jump again and kill the applemato that's above the ledge.
I think you should be able to figure it out from there.

Well I'll be. Purple Megacrystal. Indeed, without looking at a video, it worked. Cost me 2 lives and a fairly good shot at finally making it to tier 2, but it worked. I guess the moral of the story is... Learn all the tricks and work on them. Your scores must improve over time, and no individual game should matter. Or something like that.

no wattj2 the moral is to learn to play

learn the big crystals and done waste any lives before lvl 50 or so.

you basicly nede to be able to get the big crystals in about 60% of all levels
