I believe you can choose which World (Server) you go into, but where you're placed on the map is completely random, based on the latest person who died (you usually take their capital).

umm... after a certain number of days/weeks you just grow old and die? that sounds less than promising...

Well, after a certain number of turns, you grow a month older. After a long time, your health started to deteriorate (from Excellent to Good, to Poor, and then death). However, using Muxxu Coins (bought with money), you can buy a Potion of Life to improve your health by one step.

Also, the death thing basically resets you back to the beginng, so no one person can control the entire "world", otherwise it would be unfair.

Besides, it's an interesting game, you make friends with your neighbours (perhaps enemies too) and it becomes very tactical when you gain more territory.

It's worth noting that you don't lose absolutely everything when you die. Every time you die, your name gets written into the Hall of Fame, which is ranked according to the title you achieved, the amount of land you controlled, and your level of reputation. All this info will show up as your personal high score on your profile, so this should give you some tangible incentive to build up your kingdom.

ah... perhaps i will join sometime. not now though... i'm already taking up way too much time playing MT games!
