This is a challenge for the best players here on the forums!
The challenge is to beat tuber and get as many points as you can throughout a game with ONE extra life only!
I figured that if dAwjbNS can beat tuber with 14 lives left, he could beat tuber with only 1 extra life the whole game!
Here are the rules:
In order to qualify, you must lose all your lives so you only have 1 extra life left (on level 2 just die repeatedly on the cherry) and beat tuber.
The challenge will last for 2 weeks. On midnight Sat to Sunday Febraury 28th, the person who has entered and qualified with the most points, wins.
You must record yourself playing, so we can see you are not cheating and getting more than 1 life in the game. If you have a laggy computer, close all your other programs, set quality to low and on Hypercam set the playback to 24, but the record to a number like 6 or 8. This way it will be faster (8 is 3X, 6 is 4X, etc.) and not lagging your game down, but we can still see youre not cheating. Dont go under 4 record, because that is already 6X.
Upload the video to any video hosting site (youtube, dailymotion) and post the link here. i will gather all the links and post them here.
Once you reach level 100, stop recording until you beat tuber and once you reach level 103, pause and record for a few seconds again (Put record setting back to 24 now). You have to be honest about this, as it wouldnt be hard to cheat here. Edit those few seconds together with the rest of the video.
You can go into any PDs you want, but when you get extra lives that bring you up to 2 extra lives, you MUST lose 1 life before you kill any fruit, so you only have 1 extra life or less at all times.
Play in normal mode (include selecting normal mode in the video)
There is no prize (yet) for winning besides bragging rights of being one of the best players on the english forums of course. If anyone is willing to volunteer a prize of some sort, email me (click on my name and my email is there)

BONUS!
If you do this challenge with the same rules, in Nightmare mode (record yourself choosing it), and go into at least 7 different PDs (not counting PD 6, 16, or any other ones similar to those), you will have an extra ONE MILLION points added to your total score entered for you in this challenge!

Also, if this challenge is deemed too hard (which i doubt) then i might change it to 2 lives.

but it would indeed still take like forever to upload it:S why not just a screenshot every 10 levels or so? maybe later some more.. just be honest and don't cheat.. and if one makes a screenshot at level 90 and makes it all the way to 103 on that one life (maybe a screenshot every 2 levels there) you can be pretty sure that that he/she hasn't been cheating before..

Does it matter how bonus lives I get if I don't lose them?

if i understood it right you have to lose a life immediately once you have more than 1 life, even before you kill another enemy so yes, it does matter otherwise this challenge would be way to easy. good luck with it, we still have to figure a way of recording the games though i think..

i guess the screenshot thing could work.. but i think i would make it every 5 levels not 10. Where would the photos be stored?

Now do you do it with one life or with one EXTRA life?

And what if I make screenshots... I die, I get a new life and I say "I made a life and I died right after it"?

Maybe you should work on the rules a little bit.

its 1 extra life, like i said in the beggining. and im not sure what you mean on that second part, but if you mean that you have 1 extra life, die, then get another life so you have 1 extra life again, then you can do that as long as you have 1 extra life or less its good
