Searched for a thread like this and found nothing, so just delete it if there's a duplicate, but...

This is a thread about recounting all the stupid things you've done in the well, and how many times you've done them. I'll start with a few I can think of.

How many times have you:

-Jumped to your death expecting a fruit to be dead already?
-Died in your reckless dash for some rare item, or ironically, another life?
-Spawned right on top of a lemon/pear?
-Screamed at your monitor upon picking up dandelion? (See? I don't even have it unblocked!)
-Screamed at your monitor for any other reason at all?
-Missed a giant crystal after painstakingly winning the order?
-Killed the wrong fruits first, then noticed a sunflower/final judgment?
-Completely ignored a in favor of , but still cried inside?
-Gotten and either forgotten about it or didn't care enough to gather the crystals?
-Accidentally stepped on or any other inconvenient item? (I don't have a lot unblocked, obviously)
-Seen a or something of that nature that you already had, ignored it, then died on that same level after the item disappeared?
-Found at the same time as the last you needed shows up, making it useless?
-Waited for on 21 (or any other level following a huge kill combo) until the fireball killed you?
-Missed the order or jumped into Hell before getting the crystal on 54?
-Hit an umbrella on your way to that much sought-after points item or letter?
-Gotten an order from 9 or more fruits? Tell me, how amazing does it feel, and when will I finally know for myself?

That's all I really want to think of for now. Feel free to contribute, I just thought it'd be fun to enjoy a knowing laugh at the shared misfortune of your fellow adventurers.

PS: I know the helmet isn't necessarily a bad item, but ever since finishing my BoS, it seems to be a hindrance more often than not. Thoughts on utilizing it properly?

I did all of those during the past week…

Due to a lag, when I was trying to get a , I fell to my death on level 18. Fortunately, it was still there when I respawned right on top of it.

In one game, I missed 3 giant crystals before level 16. (They were all green and red.)

A appeared after I killed the wrong banana on level 21.

jumped to death: only twice i think.
died in a reckless dash: i don't even want to think about it.
Spawned on a monster: i don't think ever
Screamed at the monitor: usually i play at school, in the library. yeah, not much
ignored a for a better item: once was enough to convince me!
gotten a fish: it was horrible when i forgot about the yellow fish!

i'm tired of typing

When I played for the first time (I didn´t do the training mode ) I didn´t know that Igor can shoot bombs so I tried to jump on the cherry

After playing the game for a few months and somewhere in the 70´s (I think 72) I black bombed a lemon and thought it was dead so I jumped into my death before it fell down^^

and about the big crystals...missed big in level 64 because the sunflower had been to far away from the "inside of the bottle"

Hey, grats on HoF, fourth! I just advanced to 2 myself.

On this game, the only thing I remember happening (That's on my list, anyways) is I waited too long on 39 and got killed by the fireball. Not really my fault though, as mentioned in the DVT.

Did think of another one, though -- How many times have you gone all the way through a gamepad PD, then missed the pad?

Me too, most of them a lot of times.

Only exceptions: Screaming at my monitor for any reason. I don't do that unless I am skyping And even then I don't scream because I don't want to annoy my neighbours.
But I have already - several times - winced strongly at something happening, like a surprising death or a coeff 6 item. Each time I was close to destroying a glass or plate nearby oO

Today I ignored a in favour of a big purple crystal. Level 15.1 - luckily I got the crystal; I often fail trying to get the order.

And about the last one with the gamepad: Of course in PDs like 43 or 64. 77 too, once or twice, because I died before getting it. The other gamepads are hard to miss, I'd say.

All of these more than once, most in the double digits.

@30191- I envy your strength of mind. I scream at my monitor almost every time I play... Please, teach me the ways of calm.

Last time it was when I picked up my 10th

Yeah, the gamecube and atari controllers aren't too hard to miss, but the first time through bubblefest I hit the button, and one of my runs through the temple, I fell through the spikes at the very bottom while still invulnerable from death. Turns out that places you just past the wall to the left of the gamepad...At least I still got the jewel from it, eh.
