Press the C key while playing. It brings up a sort of progress bar for how far you are in the caverns, where you have died, and where you have triggered CRISTAL.
Yeah I found that out from the pause messages on the french version. There's also one which is alt-something(cntrl?)-K but i'm not gonna try that because it said abandonment l'venture or something like that which doesn't sound good
It's Ctrl+Shift+K, which does end the game. However, I only tried it in Learning mode, so I'm not sure if it just abandons it (discarding all progress) or just ends it at the current stage (saving all progress). Lemme try it real quick...
Also I got really annoyed when I picked up the last hat i needed for Mad Hatter, then later on in the game I went to open a new window and i accidently clicked open, so it went off the game withou savin anything and my game still lost
