Just thought it might be cool to share stories about being a survivalist. Are there any of you out there? Here is a web blog from a friend of mine that is a survivalist.
Mod:
I'd rather you talk about it than promoting your friend's blog. Try later if people are interested.

But what about you guys? Are you prepared?

I don't know about surviving, but I've had a lot of 4-6 hours walking through the mountain. Camping with my big brother when we were little. I've climbed a lot of big rocks without helping ropes and stuff like that (I didn't even know they existed back when I was 10 :D). I fell once but caught on some tree's branches so I didn't break anything ^.^
I may talk about it more when I have the time.

I never did anything like that. All I ever did was sit in my warm house. One time I went to boy scout camp when I was six or seven, and I hated it and haven't been camping since.

Thats very cool!! I have been all over the US goign to state parks and rock climbing and mountain climbing, I am planing a trip out to B Rock in Kentucky for this weekend. I've been there before, it's a lot of fun. All I take is a sleeping bag and some tools for climbing and tools to make my own "tent" or "hut" out of the sticks and stuff out there.
