My 308th item. This one has been almost 8 months in the making. It's taken me a long time to actually get used to playing in nightmare mode.

I got the final two today, with a strange coincidence: Two Green Beer Mushrooms, one in each game.

Now I have two joysticks (one of which I have 9) to round up before I set my sights on the Pyramid Pass.

Yesterday I unblocked , so now I have unblocked all keys except for the Pungent Key and all controllers that I can collect so far.

Do you happen to have the infographic that explains what path to take to get to the pyramid pass? I have deliberately avoided watching any videos on how to beat Hell, but I figure trekking around exploring the different paths will take me at least another decade.

In order to get the Pyramid Pass, first you will have to do "Hell", then "Howling Metal", then "The Entrance to the Tomb" and then "The Tomb of Tuber".
Just pay attention that you have to get past the crystals in level 10 of hell very quickly and you have to use the left portal at the end of Howling Metal.
But I don't want to spoiler too much

That's exactly what I wanted to know! A general roadmap, so that I'm not going to be taking wrong turns and getting shunted out of hell.

One more question: Where is the N64 controller (the real one)? Is it easier to reach than the Pyramid Pass?

In order to get the N64 Controller, you will first have to get the Pyramid pass. When you have got the Pyramid Pass, you can use the left portal in level 54.12.1, which will lead you to the "Raspberry Crypt", which you can also see on Zaxarinca. It is actually a lot harder than the Pyramid Pass. If you want to get the Snow Bomb, you have to do the "Raspberry Crypt" on Nightmare Mode and even do some incredibly difficult levels after that.

I see the level now. One thing I'm not quite clear on - what is the reason for needing to be in nightmare mode? So you can skip over that gap? What happens if you try to jump over it normally? Can you clear it with ? I seem to recall reading years ago that it was also possible with or .

Also, if this thread is accurate, then nobody new on this server has obtained the Pyramid Pass in the last three years.

If you lay a bomb on the stone at the bottom of this level in Nightmare Mode, it will drop and you will be able to go down further. If you do it in the normal mode, the stone will stay. You can get to the level with the Snow Bomb in Normal mode, tho. But you need to get on this level, so you skip the level where you would have to bomb down the stone. When you reach the level with the Snow Bomb, the bomb will disappear after like 5-10 secones, so I think you will need the added speed of Nightmare or Tornado Mode to get it.
And I think there are no active mods anymore so that's probably the reason why there hasn't been a registered Pyramid Pass for a few years.
