Just got a Pear Egg on level 2 (not actually level 2, 2nd level after hopping in the well) of a game I was *just* about to quit and start over because of a stupid early death but then figured, eh, I'd wait the extra 5 seconds for the 2nd item to show just to see what it is and TA Freakin' DA!

Yeah, no matter what you do, ALWAYS wait for both items. Even in level 2
