After watching 50 levels, I noticed how similar it was to Hfest. Yes, I know this is just a type of game, but they are so similar...
When you hit enemies but don't kill them, they get angry and go after you, and go faster.
If you take too long, a "HURRY!" will appear across the screen, and all the monsters go really fast.
After taking too long, an unbeatable monsters (or two if you're playing two-play) appears and follows you around until you beat the stage (though this one goes away when all the enemies are beaten).
There are running shoes, which are useful, but often mess up your high-jump timing, JUST LIKE HFEST. GRR.
The item Umbrella skips levels for you.
The Book items are the rarest, and they kill off all the monsters on the screen and gives you tons of items.
Picking up some jewels will make all the monsters disappear, and low-point jewels will cover the screen. Picking them all up gives a large bonus.
Killing monsters in the right order will make a giant crystal fall from the sky (though that one touches the bottom floor

I know that a few of these are common for these kinds of games, but does anyone else find that Bubble Bobble and Hfest are just so... Similar?
