mdc; you could consider losing the 2 lifes on purpose in RC.15 so you don't have any extra lifes in RC.16... gives you just a little bit more time (though 2 deaths probably won't be compensated for by that)

54.8 nearly missed as I went down to try out new strategy and fell on a seed.
54.10 2 lives lost due to laggy jump. The second after taking the big crystal.
54.11 death due to NO jump for . The last life was lost in dilemma: strawberry seed or baddy bomb.
Hell sucks.

I was doing like Piet says Sometimes even with no extra lives I had to 'dance' with fireball because this stupid raspberry won't come to any place where I could kill it.. Good luck on unblocking

arghh.. i want my internet to act normal.. my computer is way better than it was before, but hfest lags.. perhaps 40fps is too low? is there any way to set it higher? i really want to get the damn n64 right now.. back when internet worked i got to RC.11-RC.16 on every single attempt

Baaaaaahh, just doing a point run for the "Hfest cup" and ran into a blue umbrella... in level 43! This was REALLY close to Ctrl+Shift+K, though it was going quite well until now...

And - how could it be different - after that level nothing went right... stuff like being on 4 lives at the beginning of level 50 and then directly running into those spikes... incredible that I still reached Tuber (and died to his least dangerous attack for the first time. I think those who faced him know which one I am talking about)
