Maybe the Flash is failing. Try reintsalling it or using another browser with fresh/latest flash installation, just to be sure it's not it.

It was strange to find this thread not on the 1st page;

Unfortunately, yes. 54.7 has taken a few rare items from me.

So R U talkin' 'bout a golden shroom or pastry? I thought that the EFFECT item was the difficult one, not the point. The point item is right next to the beginning of the level and can easily be obtained after a suicide.

I was at killing the monsters when I appeared. As soon as I've seen it I suicided but the thing disappeared too fast.
