I just missed the first Ace of Diamonds I've ever seen...
And it was for the dumbest reason, too...

It appeared on level 86, while I was right in front of it, literally waiting for the item to appear. Since there were no enemies yet, I stood staring at it in awe for a second, intending to grab it immediately. But then I realized, "I should make the enemies appear first, before I grab the card, otherwise it will have no effect." So I went for the black crystal, and by then, there was not enough time to make my way back up.

I feel so stupid... I will never be able to forgive myself for this. At least it wasn't an Ace of Hearts, I guess... But still, it'd have been nice to have just one red card in my fridge.

(The 2.9 million score I ended up with was just salt on the wound, as usual... )

I wouldn't worry about it too much - isn't that hugely uncommon

Zoyyy is right, coef 5 effect items are rare but after a few hundred of games you should be in position to unlock the 6 of them.

It would have been worse with a coef 5 score item, not to mention a coef 6.

I fully sympathize though, I am not lucky with red cards either and it's always painful to miss a coef 5.
I remember a few years ago, I missed 2 diamond aces in the same week because of power breakdowns, and I did not see any of them for the next 2 years. Plus I've never seen an ace of yet, but I still hope it will happen one day.

I missed my 3rd Tuber's bag today at level 46.5, because of a conspiracy between saws and nasty bombinos.

It's painful when you did not see a rare item for one month, and when at last it spawns, it appears to be unreachable within the time limit. So frustrating !

Oh, that's unfortunate. The quest does unlock a pretty cool disguise, which you now will have to wait for even longer

Well, at least you've collected some other nice items during the past 2 days which made up a bit for it

I always thought my twitching fingers wouldn't be so bad for Hfest, but I guess I'm wrong. I don't always have full control about my fingers. For example, if I want to spamclick really fast, sometimes my finger just stays down on the key instead of going up and down. Then again, sometimes when I want to do a simple click, my finger doubletaps the key. That's what just happened to me, I wanted to ctrl+w the cadomax tab in my browser, but double tapped the "w", which led to my game closing aswell

It's hard to play here without the Grimoire I have back at the Spanish version. It's hard to get enemies in the top levels because I don't even have light... I couldn't get Tuber even though I reached him because I had no light whatsoever. That's pisses me really off .

But well, I guess I'll have to keep playing and eventually I'll get it.

P.s.: it's funny cause in the spanish version we have a thread like this but for good things.. like the daily showing-off thread?
