Got my first NES pad, from 62. I discovered why Cadomax is "wrong" about these ... on the French server, the pad on 64 IS the NES pad (Frusion Entertainment System). So the English translators got them mixed up. (Haven't checked the Spanish server yet.)
The pad on Spanish 64 is called Nientiendo Entertainment System, so it is official. The names on the English server are wrong.

Can i have a picture of the 64 pad? I know almost every single controler

I stopped the videos at the approximate point where I lost my last life. Don't want to spoil any surprises.

Nothing particularly surprising. I think the key is to be patient. Avoiding death is the #1 priority; don't try to land a hit unless you're sure you won't die. None of Tuber's attacks are individually that hard to dodge.

Needed a lot of breaks to get this far. Beat 91 without losing a life. Got on 94, on 95 (although I still lost 1 life), on 96, on 97 and successfully avoided the on PD 97.

To be sure, there was still room for improvement. Didn't do very well on 92. Died on 93 for the first time. Died on 99 because of a bad decision (jumping out of the safe zone before the 'hurry up' warning appeared). My meeting with Tuber ended when I Mod: some people don't know about this

For you more advanced players... Without giving away what happens soon after entering level 101, do you think I need a large stockpile of lives to beat Tuber?

The first 3 times beat Tuber I lost total of 2 lives. After that I was a bit reckless, underestimated him and lost more. If you try to stay alive instead of beating him, it's easier.
