Rest of the game was an absolute failure. I committed every stupid death in ever stupid item-losing fail way there was to happen. it's a miracle I lived to 87. A terrible life, if you ask me. I wish I'd rage quitted.

"But Nemo," you ask, "how is it possible that you beat your high score by 500,000 points in just one game ??"

Well, I unblocked , so it helped not to have to go in there. But apart from that, I have no clue. The stars were aligned for me, I suppose.

It's strange ... what look like my very WORST games always end up being the most EPIC.

Here's what went down:

Only one death in BubbleFest.

51.5 I had to choose between my 11th and a . I chose the , and the lag it induced made G.I. Joe appear when I got to 51.8, so that made up for the death spree a little.

I am definitely satisfied with this score to take me up to level one. Now, I'll probably do Nightmare for the rest of the week.

And Neko, don't fret. Your best games will come when you least expect it. And if I've learned anything from today's, it's that it's never too late to turn a miserable game into an amazing game. In fact, the games in which I die four or five times in a row often end up being my best, because it inspires me to focus more and make sure to try my very very hardest the rest of the game to make up for it.

Completed the Great Friendship quest, by the slimmest of margins. Died on level 49, soon after getting the heart.

WOOOOO FREAKING HOOOOO, I finally found my first evil liquor!!!!!

Just one more to go, then the wine key, and then the Sony controller, and I'll be all done!

Today's game was pretty awesome. I found:

6th Biscuit Transformer
5th Wonderful Wine
7th and 8th Big Unemployment (first time I've seen any in over a month) XD

Looking at my fridge, I see that I must also have picked up a third coeff. 5 White Beans without noticing.

Ended by beating Tuber with eight lives to spare. I was surprised to get that far on a PD-intensive run. Then I realized that I'd forgotten to enter PD77... again. But still! Now I can say that I won in Mirror Mode! Where 97.1 is ever-so-slightly more confusing!

I think I'll have unlocked every coeff. 0 item outside of Hell within a week or two. I hope I can complete the rest of the useful quests before it's time to go in there. (I like the levels where it's possible to... y'know... reach quest items when they appear.) XD

How exactly does that trick work, anyway? Do you have to fly up from the right to get the candy cane at all, or only if you want to get it twice? That is, without doing anything fancy, can you still take it once by entering normally from the left? Or will it turn into a mushroom the first time you approach, no matter from which direction?
