My second meeting with Tuber. Had 3 lives going in, and then got one more from . Took off more than half of his health, which is significantly better than my first time. Then the fight got harder (hope I'm not giving too much away) and I couldn't land a single hit with my last two lives.

On the bright side, I made it that far without any real help from the attack items in levels 91 and above.

90 - 0 deaths (!)
91 - 1 death
92 - 1 death
93 - 1 death
94 - 0 deaths
95 - 2 deaths
96 - 2 deaths
97 - 0 deaths
PD 97 - 0 deaths
99 - 0 deaths

Maybe things would have been very different with say a on level 95. Then again, considering how much I struggled when Tuber got nastier, I'm not sure it would have helped.

It is awesome that so many people are having great games lately.

Question (@V or anyone, really): Do you go into 25.0, 51.0, and/or 55.0 on N-Tuber runs ? I probably don't actually need the points, but I feel bad skipping them.
I always skipped them. Now that I think of it, though, 25.0 might actually be easier in N-Mode, for two reasons:
1. You're running, so you can reach the bombs more reliably.
2. The QUICK! message comes sooner, so the pears probably disappear faster.
Then again, they'd also be spitting more bombs more quickly, so... who knows!

On 51.0 and 55.0, I found it way too hard not to run into the spikes. I also skip most of the crystals (and take the shortcut jump) on 78 when I'm in N-Mode and/or wearing . Maybe I shouldn't, though; it's probably worthwhile to practice landing precisely while running.

@th and Neko: You'll find that he gets much easier after you've tried a few times. You'll beat him soon! (And remember, it's possible to "interrupt" him when he's getting ready to... do... stuff. I hope that's un-spoilerish enough.) XD

In other news, I can tell with 100% certainty that the 48 screenshot is fake. Not gonna say what gave it away, since that would only make it easier for the WANTON CHARLATAN to ply his trade more successfully.

(It sure would be awesome if the was bugged that way, though...)

Yep, it's fake, usually the sprites are altered in an almost unnoticeable way, this just is a smaller vierson.

Intelligent minds can notice at the moment about the fact that it's fake.

Why? You see, the ring allows you to take two objects, and you got a Lollipop and a Ham... better luck next time

@V, I've already counted 25.0 in normal mode, you get somewhere between 11 and 21 Bombs on your platform. So I think I'll go ahead and enter it a few times in N-Mode and see what I get. (On a related note, I've found I am more successful when I jump rather than just walking back and forth. When I only walk, I tend to fall short. By jumping (when appropriate), you can aim your landings more precisely and also be covered just in case you're a bit late on kicking one.)

+ spikes = . Especially since 78 always seems to be accompanied by lag. My fps on 78 today was below 20 ... but I still managed to safely get all but two of the crystals. I'll draw my path and post it.
