Played a game on the french server with the goal to succeed at PD 97. Right off the bat I did pretty badly. It was disappointment after disappointment and death after death in clumps. On 59 or so I had maybe 5 lives left and I thought, "Gosh, it'll be a miracle if I even make it to 80". I went into PD 72 with 3 lives thinking, "This game is going badly, it will probably end in this PD". Just lost one life, on te last level. I then get to 80 with 2 lives (and 1.7 mil or so) and leave with 1 life (and 1.8 mil or so). "Well, I've only got one life left, This game probably won't take me to 88 even. I'll enjoy it while I can." Enter 90 with 1 life and 1.9 mil or so. Leave with 1 life thanks to reaching 2 mil with the prizes. Blue umbrella on 91. Saw a Bobble Cane on 93 as it was disappearing and didn't get it (good thing this is the french server and not here!). Lost my last life but I was still going after 94 thanks to the shield and some good luck. Here I thought, "Wow! my luck sure has turned around! I have no lives but I'm so close, maybe I'll achieve my goal after all!".
GO on 95.
That'll teach me to think positively...
