Actually John, the glasses in PD97 work different from the normal glasses, they rotate the screen (or, equivalently, they flip the screen vertically AND horizontally) and so rotating your screen would actually work as if it was the same. Personally, I find the game to work perfectly intuitively if I get the glasses or not. I should make a video of me doing it with the glasses sometime.
