Soon, soon. Still need a couple of those controllers at PD2, then I'll start the descent to hell. But I'll be taking a month of break from the game too, as I'll be travelling abroad. Anyway I'm ready for hell now.

I got my first Daruma Watermelon today! and my third Book of Stars! Still haven't seen a book of mushrooms though, one day maybe. I've still yet to really try any of the PDs because I usually just die immediately and waste a run, perhaps I should start with one of the easier ones, any suggestions?

I guess you are not talking about pd3, since it is so easy that you should enter it every game. But some other relatively easy pds are e.g. pd11, pd13, pd26 and pd43. If you can beat pd46 you will get which unlocks many great items, but it is a bit harder. Apart from that, beating the game should be your first priority (and having fun of course ).

Today I could finally find some time to play again. Although I sadly didn't get a rare item, I managed to beat the game in Ninjutsu Mode, which made me quite happy, since I haven't played in a longer time

Haven't been here for a while. No worries, I'm not really trying to get there, most of the time I'm struggling with the hell levels when I have time to play. The 8th level is particularly frustrating right now.

Relaxed a while avoiding hell. Improved my best score with some 3M points and in another game I managed to beat Tuber with 15 extra lives left.
Not sure if I mentioned it, I also found my first octopus in ink a while ago, so I'm on my way on completing some easy families right now. More recently I picked up my first daruma watermelon as well.
