Rjak, that's exactly what caused my doom.

An interesting game. I started off by getting a blankety-blank Tropical Dandelion on level two, and the level I got rid of it on, I also lost 3 other lives.

I got quite a few rare items, and a new record level!

I had two lives when I got to the Lemons. I thought: "Oh, I'll never make it to the Bombinos." I Make it to the Bombinos and think, "I'll never make it to the Pears." I make it to the Pears. Still, "I'll never make it to and/or past the Strawberries." I do that too. I have lost and gained lives to bring my total up to 1. I think, "There is no way that I'm going to make it to the Kiwis. I've never gotten that far before." I lose only one life to get there, and bet them to boot! But, as I'm leaving, I accidentally kick a hidden mine down with me as I drop, thereby ending my unnaturally lucky streak.

The first time I faced the kiwis (so far the only time, heh), I was prepared. I'd read about them in guides and heard about them from players, and accidentally stumbled upon a PD where level 0 was occupied with a couple. game ended there. My strategy was to avoid the places the kiwis places mines. it worked very well!

yup. that's the one. Now that I see the pics, I guess I actually died on level 1...
