I had another *facedesk* moment when I grabbed a
on the last level of PD46. Augh, if I didn't do that sort of dumb thing, I would have unlocked the Wooden Master Key by now.
But the rest of the game went well! Got another Ankhel Jewel, again with zero lives left... and, amazingly, made it all the way down to my record level of 90 afterward. Still didn't beat it, alas, but apparently I did well enough to earn the temporary spot of #1 on Tier 2.
This sounds weird, but in the middle of the last enemy level of PD51 (the one with a pineapple in the middle), I could swear that I got an extra life for no reason. I was between point landmarks, the effect item wasn't a
, and I certainly didn't collect the last letter of
... but somehow I went from zero extra lives to one.
I actually noticed this happen a few times, on various levels... Maybe I'm wrong, but it occurs often enough to make me wonder.
or to finish MT Diet, because I couldn't possibly get both. In the end, my decision was based purely on coefficients (3 vs. 4). Although, looking back, I really would have liked to have finished MT Diet 
... (I didn't even get the 50k bonus -_-) But whatevs. It's still a good thing. The last ketchup should come soon ... hopefully.
