Nightmare Hell is really hard. Got on 54.6, couldn't make it past RC.2. Entered Hell with 10 lives.

Also, 6th Almond Laxative

Tried Ninjutsu mode today.

Died with 5.1 million, level 69.

If I do better I might break my record (5.6 million)

Yesterday I played a second game and broke my long wait for a c5 item when I found my 13th . It's better than nothing I guess?

Today the game went one better and sent me my 5th Almond Laxative. Nice one!

I spent the rest of the game losing way to many lives and scoring way to many points. If it was not so late, I would have avoided Hell and instead gone on a Tuber run, but I didn't want to play for another hour. Instead I skipped PD43 because I knew I would reach 2M points before Hell (which is usually my main goal. I don't want to choose a longer path towards level 54 than I use now).
In Hell I failed a little bit less than normal, somehow survived the first part and died in 54.12.1.6 (I think), really close to 3M points. Maybe I should have gone through PD43???

Not a bad game, but a bad time to play... Let's see what tomorrow brings.

FINALLLYYYYYY!!!!!

After all this time, the one item I wanted more than any other. The one item I coveted above all others, yes, even above the steamed brioche I so love! IT IS FINALLY MINE!!!! I picked it up on 43.2, I was so stunned and caught up in making sure I got it that I didn't take a screenshot in-game. I did get every single 10,000 point piece and the 50k bonus, which brought my score up something ridiculous, like 800k points or something. I decided then to go for a score run instead of a Hell run, but then I gave up and rage-quit when I accidentally missed PD 72.
It's crazy, because I almost rage quit the game because of two stupid deaths before then. But I didn't and I got my purple pearl. Oh, my precious purple pearl! And how serendipitous that I got it right after unblocking . Statistically, that makes sense though, since the coeff 5 to coeff 6 ratio is 10:1.

Oh, and this brings my coeff 6 count up to... 6! One gold , One of hearts, One grey gooey blob thing, Two , and now my purple .

Wow, congrats Neko! An incredibly powerful item.

And while we are at it, I just got my 7th ace of diamonds! And right after failing the first shot at level 8, so I was unable to get the big crystal. Nice timing

...and played bad enough to Ctrl+Shift+K shortly afterwards. I am tired... See you tomorrow

Another game I should note as a "good thing" although it ended in the worst way possible.

I reached Hell after an average run, but played really well there, e.g. surviving 54.8, losing only one live in 54.6, ... I entered the "Howling Metal" region with around 8 lives left, but then my framerate started dropping... I died at 54.12.1.9G.3.9 after losing one life due to my stupidity (okay) and the second due to lag - which made me lose quite a few lives in the levels before. It could have been such a good run...!

Do you have "Frequent vibrations" turned off in the game options?

I played a second game (I like weekends...) and THIS happened. Oh my god, why?!?

I went for the more popular choice, although I know that the second item is harder to get (and I had only found it 3 times before, as opposed to 6 pearls). Of course, I should have been on the other end of the level, but I really did not expect this to happen! Okay, still nice somehow. And a very singular moment...

I considered going the Tuber route because I died quite a lot during the rest of the game, but then decided to give Hell a try. I reached the same level as last time, although I entered 54.12.0 with only 2 lives left. Quite good for me.

@fabianh: I had them turned on. I turned them off and the game did not lag as much as before. But even after at least 6 years of playing this game I don't understand the option. Maybe "vibration" has a meaning hidden to me (I am not a native english speaker), but I don't get what vibrates there. Can anyone explain it to me?

Have a nice weekend, I'll play again tomorrow. And hope to continue my recent streak of c5 items (At least 5 items in the recent 1 or 2 weeks! After a long wait...)
