How do you do 54.6? Do you immediately go in to save time or dou you bomb down stuff from the top first?
Because no death in NM is really impressive.

My strategy for 54.6 is to quickly bomb a few enemies from the top to maybe clear some space up (this is actually greatly affected by which way the blob goes at the start of the level). Then I try to stand in the teleporter on the left side to clean up more space, avoiding if necessary. When the path is clear, I try to clear everything from the top with white bombs, and then use black bombs to complete the level.
This is still not easy to pull off, and even if I do get it, I usually die to the fireball.

I just got my first in Normal Mode. Entered RTT with 3 lives, managed to do RTT.1 without dying, which I was pretty impressed by, then -2 in RTT.2 and in RTT.3.

Recently ended my C5 drought with my 9th BoS on level 10. Which one will be first, the moneybag, the book, or the hair?

Managed to get a completely flawless nightmare hell run up until my first death in RC.2. I did skip 54.6 with , but 54.8 was done itemless and without death.

Made it to RTT with 7 spare lives.

-4 on RTT.1 (didn't do well with killing the raspberries)
-1 on RTT.2 without item (new personal record)
-0 on RTT.3

Got my 3rd snow bomb with 2 spare lives

Is there a list anywhere of the rarity coeffs of the items? I got that orange thing that looks like a small loaf of french bread...sry for the bad description...but don't have a record of how special it is. It's like a tiny lozenge-y thing with tiny stripes at the top like cuts in a loaf of bread, you know?

And also unlocked and got my 9th Parrot Head.

Cadomax used to have what you're looking for (a breakdown of all items by coefficient), but it seems like any attempt to access it now just leads you back to the home page.

@barenl Thanks! I seemed to remember it was a high item, but my bookmarks for Cadomax were turning up nil, and while archive.org had some pages cached it's missing most pictures.

I also missed my first ever Goron Head. Popped up right as I had jumped off to go down.

Daruma Watermelon...maybe Goron Head is a leftover from the French server; Or I'm getting my games mixed up. It's a high coeff 5.

How unfair is it that I've had a Croissant, a green moss pearl, and two Book of Stars in the last week but no evil liquor...I'd gladly trade 8 of my Book of Stars for one or two of those. wah wah wah...
