Yep. I'll give you the whole cutscene off Mario RPG before the Boss Battle.
You won't know some of these characters.

Prince Peasley: I can bet your bottom dollar this is one of those Molvo-Morphes that came from the BeanBean Sewers!
Professor E-Gadd: Hee hee! Well, lucky for you, I have this! *Holds up Tracking Device*
E-Gadd: This is a Tracking Device, to Track Down the Molvo-Generator! It's your job to destroy it, then no more of these gastly things will appear!
Prince Peasely: They are said to be amongst the meanest of beasts. Legend has it that the people have had there flesh stripped, bones chewed and guts ripped out! *Laughs*

Mario: *Communicates with Luigi*
Luigi: Oh no! *Cries*
Mario: NNNGH! *Irritated*
Luigi: BOOOHOOHOO!!! *Runs away*
Mario: *Sigh*

Prince Peasely: Who cares? We kick butt! Listen here, Molvo-SugoBasha. We're gonna blast you all the way back to the BeanBean sewers!
Mario: Ooh Yeah! *Nods*
*Luigi comes back*
Prince Peasely: We've got this one IN THE BAG!
SugoBasha: GRYYYAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!

*Boss Battle Begin*

And also, I don't really think it matters, but Is also a boss. He is Gon Ga Jora from Mario RPG 3.

This is the cutscene.
Gon Ga Jora (I'll call him Gon): Welcome, my friends. I see you have brought the Beanstar back to me.
Mario & Luigi: Ooh Yeah! *Nods*
Prince Peasely: Yes, sir. We wouldn't leave you even if we were dead.
Gon: (Eyes glow red) Well, yes. *Eyes the Beanstar*
Prince Peasely: Isn't that right, Mario Bros.?
Mario & Luigi: Oh Yeah! *Spins around*
Peasely: NO! DON'T!!!
*The BeanStar goes flying into the wall. A purple gas spreads out, Evil music plays*
Mario: AAAAAAAH!!!
*The BeanStar splits into four pieces and fades away*
Peasely: NO! The BeanStar!
Luigi: *Cries*
Mario: NNNNGH!!! *Slams Luigi into the ground with a Hammer*
Peasely: Don't worry, sir! We'll recover the pieces!
Gon: NOT BEFORE I KILL YOU FIRST!!!
Cackletta: *Appears from the Purple Fog* EYYAHAHHAAHAA!
Gon: Take this, Green Bean!
*Prince Peasely goes flying- Mario Bros. Start panicking*
Cackletta: *Flies into Gon's Mouth*
Gonletta: !AND TAKE YOUR WORTHLESS EXISTENCE WITH IT, MARIO BROS.!
*Becomes Huge, Bends over and breathes fire*

which to a noob like me its a mircale expeically since on level 5 I had no lies left.unfourtanly i didnt get the game pad.

How did you manage to get the jewel, but not the game pad??

finished perseverance quest, and now gets an extra life.
