Hello, and welcome to the Hammerfest Cup.

This cup was originally an idea of Seensterr1. And now I'm in charge.

First, let's start with the rules of the cup.



1. There are 3 highscores categories. Which are determined by your best score. They are:
0 - 3,000,000
3,000,001 - 5,000,000
5,000,001 - 17.753.560
The third category maximum is always determined by the highest score in hammerfest.
The limits can be changed, and a new category can be created. If I do that, I'll change here.

2. The cup will take place in the Hammerfest Well that Igor jumps in.

3. The cup will happen each 2 months and will last 2 weeks. Each cup will start at the 1st monday of the month and will end 14 days later, on the next sunday. After that, the champions will be named.

4. Each cup will have a separated topic where you can post your scores.

5. The participating system will be the same as the first cup. I'll create a topic, and the players that want to take part need to say "Sign me in!" or something like it.

I'll try to update the scoreboard at least daily.

Belkar just some notes,

- make sure you keep an extra copy of this in a word document
- its better if you let people sign themselves up because of
a) maybe they don't want to join and..
b) It makes it so it stays a top the forums during sign up week, so it doesn't get lost on the second page

I was thinking in adding new features for the cup, make it know outside.

Just an idea: maybe instead of the 1st to the 15th of every 2 months, you should make the cups always from Monday to Monday, so it displays the players' "Score of the Week" on their page, as well as just making everything simpler. Just a thought .

I don't think a weekly cup will work.
They need to see the cup as something special, like "I need to win this cup at all costs!"

Maybe monthly...

i think enders saying that the 1st of a month may land on a Wednesday etc., so it will start in the middle of the week. just start the cup at the first start of a new in a set month
