I had CRISTA_. I had killed the first 2 lemons, in order. As I placed a black bomb to kill the 3rd lemon, "L" appeared. I raced to get it. The bomb went off, sending the lemon flying (but it hadn't hit the bottom of the screen yet). I got the L, completing CRISTAL. The lemon finally it hit the bottom of the screen and the big crystal came down.
