I know there's nothing about hammerfest, but I need to ask here.

I read somewhere that there's some players here that play this. I looked there for a couple of minutes, and I`m going to give a try.

Since the almighty Zax (I mean it. I'm a fan of this guy. ) hasn't write anything about it yet, can someone here type some tips for me?

When you register add ElectricZax or unixasas to the 'sponsor' field. SailorVenus plays as well. I don't know about other players, but pick one and add it. You don't lose anything by doing so.

If you have registered an account you can delete it and make a new one for that.

I suggest you buy a Cloud or at least another dino for 16k gold. Don't use your money to buy anything. Collect as much gold as possible and use it to buy new dinoz. More dinoz = more moved dinoz = more gold. There is a limit of 18 (to 21) dinoz max so you try to get some considerable number of dinoz (15?) at first. After that you can buy dinoz that you want to develop for battles (there are Clan Wars and Championships) and use the gold that you get from the first 15 dinoz to make the other 3 stronger.

There are "U" skills that affect all the whole game, not just the dino that has it. Like Professor - all dinoz get +5% experience from battles. This way when you get a Cloud first you will can try to reach several U skills with that one.

Another thing is that each element (wood, water, etc) can gather resources at specific places. You can level up the Cloud to be gatherer so you can gather those ingredients and sell them for more gold (thus more dinoz...).

There are a lot of things to be told about this game but that's for starters. I'll add the DinoRPG info in Zaxarinka.com after I finish with Hammerfest.

Belkar, you could also register on all the other servers to have more practice with building dinoz, different skill paths or just for fun. But the important thing in the beginning, do not buy anything but more dinoz to maximize your income, and don't use those Irma potions until the timer reaches 23 hours.

There are many clans with useful information, forum as well, and many friendly players to help you out

Unixasas, these are all the players I remember to be playing DinoRPG. Also I think that the Irma potion doesn't effect your clock increase.

Belkar, when you start the game you need 30 minutes to make a new move. After that move you will need an hour, after that - an hour and a half. The timer will continue to grow until it reaches 23h. Roughly 1 turn per day. You can use an Irma potion to make a move without waiting for the timer. I think that you can use those potions right at the beginning and the timer will not grow as if you have used "New turn" 10 times.

Also - when your dinoz's health drop below 50% you can use 'Rest' to start healing it. It heals 1hp/hour and you can heal up to 50%. So be sure to be below 20hp (or maybe less) before you rest. Resting use your turn for that dino. If you have more than one dino you can use Rest at the beginning of the turn. Move the other dino. The next day click "New turn" and move the other dino while the first one continues to rest. The next day instead of clicking "New turn" first stop resting, move the dino and use "New turn" after that. Remember that you used your turn to rest on the first turn, but you didn't do anything on the second. This way you can heal 46hp for 900 gold (one Irma Potion) instead of buying a Meat pie (heals 30hp and costs 2k gold).

SOMEONE registered using the shared IP here at my universty. I'll wait until tomorrow for doing that.

Now zax, if you use potion to cut the wait by 30 mins or by 23 hours, which of the option looks more efficient with potions? Definitely 23 hours Sure you can make the turn faster, but the game, if you don't buy gold, is the patience game. You gotta have it and keep the potions until 23 hours

If you have the means, I'd recommend buying through the bank only enough money to get a second Dinoz. Having two of them right at the start of your adventure really speeds up things.

i'm piet23 there i didn't spend any money untill 18 dinoz, so it is possible i think zax' explanation is about all you have to know right now.. the rest comes later... and as someone already mentioned before, you can also take a look at the clans pages.. clans like death's children and "the english connection" have a lot of info about missions etc. etc.

one more thing i'd like to give you as advice is to get the fountain pearl (object) as soon as possible.. it allows every of your dinoz to heal 5hp for free if they are at the fountain of youth (location) at midnight..

first you have to obtain the buoy at the university (talk to the professor and learn) which is possible from level 5 on.. the enemy is quite strong though, so be sure you have enough health/items.. you can also wait for another level or 2.. after that you can take a look at this page and scroll down to the master hydargol quest to see what to do next.. if you don't know where a certain location is, you can take a look at the maps..

if i forgot anything or if something is not clear, please ask or add some more information

Let's see if I got it all.


1. Do not EVER spend anything. Except for new Dinoz untill you reach 18.

2. Only use the Madam Irma potion when "Your Dinoz has to wait in order to perform another action..." is showing 23h.

3. I should rest only with -20% of my HP. (How do I rest? >.<

4. I'm thinking...

You can only rest once your Dinoz loses more than 50% of its HP. For example, if you have 130HP, only when it has less than 65HP. Every Dinoz starts with a 100HP max, but you can get more with certain skills.
