Crap, I died in lvl47 or something. Anyway, mapping both keysets to my gamepad (using a program called JoyToKey) worked quite nice, the only problem was that the two guys enter each new level one second away from each other. So I had to realign them at the start of each level, that's tedious and sometimes dangerous.
The upside is that you can constantly use the big bombs that way. You know, the super bombs that you get when the other player kicks your bomb. They have a doubled blast radius and double impact. Basically things go big boom when using these
The most awesome thing I've seen is using the big bomb trick on a black bomb. Since big bombs take shorter to explode, you basically get a better black bomb with the timer of a normal white bomb.
I think I'm going to try this again someday, it was fun.
