I can't think of a reason to ban you because my cat has learned to open doors, and I sleep with mine shut. So, when she began to demand pettens at the ungodly hours of 3,4, and 5 in the morning, I locked it. She overcomes this by body-slamming the door until I open it. Can hardly keep my eyes open...
