i just posted this to learn how many of you have herd tof this "Fibonacci Sequence"

and it has a relation to the golden ratio???


The Fibonacci Sequence:0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55........

I've heard of it, but I didn't think it started with zero. I thought it started like this: 1,1,2,3,5,….

0+1=1 1+1=2 1+2=3 2+3+5

I know that. I just thought it started with 1, not 0.

But, this page confirms that you're right that it starts with 0.

I also knew of it starting with 1. But I have seen different versions, with the first 1 being called "F1" or "F0", so if you call it "F1", the 0 is "F0", just like wikipedia has defined it in your link.

Argh, I have heard of another really cool relation in this sequence other than that to the golden ratio a short time ago, but forgot what it was Nevertheless, the golden ratio is always good^^

How do you think this applies to hfest?

Easy - the number of co5's you aren't going to get is equal to the sum of how many you weren't gonna get the last two plays.

Golden ratio is 1:1,66(6).
The farther you get into "Fibonacci Sequence" the closer you get to the golden number.
It is considered the number of beauty as well, because a lot of things in nature have that proportion in them.
